It has been reported that Japan will extend its ban on car exports to Russia to include all new and used vehicles over 1900 cc, hybrid cars, and large vehicle tires, which will come into force on 9 August 2023. This wider export ban is in line with the EU’s measures introduced in June 2023 (previous post).
