On 26 May 2023, The UN added Abdullahi Osman Mohamed Caddow to its Somalia sanctions list (notice) pursuant to resolution 751 (1992) concerning Al-Shabaab. Yesterday, the UK (notice) and Switzerland (notice) incorporated the UN update into their sanctions regimes. The EU added Mr Caddow to their Somalia list on 12 June 2023 (regulation, decision).
