The US intends to designate the Wagner Group as a significant Transnational Criminal Organisation under Executive Order 13581, as amended, and impose additional sanctions on the group and its international support network, according to White House NSC Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby. The designations are expected to be made this week.
