The EU has amended its Central African Republic (CAR) sanctions regime in line with UNSC Resolution 2648 (2022), which was adopted in July 2022. Press Release. The amendments change the title of Decision 2013/798/CFSP and provide for additional exceptions to the arms embargo and notification requirements.
