US to tighten export controls on cybersecurity items

The US Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) has published an Interim Rule establishing new controls on “cybersecurity items” consistent with 2017 amendments to the Wassenaar Arrangement, a multilateral export control regime.
