UN de-lists 1 from terrorism sanctions & 28 from Iraq sanctions

On 6 September 2021, the UN removed Qatar national Khalifa Muhammad Turki Al-Subaiy from its ISIL (Da’esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions List. Press Release. The de-listing has been implemented by the UK (Notice), the EU (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/1460) and Switzerland (Notice).

On 8 September 2021, the UN has also removed 28 entities from its Iraq Sanctions List. All the entities were originally listed by the UN on 26 April 2004. Press Release. The UK (Notice), the EU (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/1472) and Switzerland (Notice) have implemented the de-listings.
