Human rights NGO listed as an “undesirable organisation” by Russia

International Partnership for Human Rights (IPHR), a Brussels-based NGO, has been designated by Russia as an “undesirable organisation” pursuant to Federal Law of 23.05.2015 N 129-FZ, according to an announcement from the Russia Prosecutor General’s Office. IPHR may be fined if it continues to operate in Russia and its employees could face 2 to 6 years’ imprisonment.
