EU prepared to adopt sanctions in response to Myanmar military coup

The EU Council has adopted conclusions on Myanmar, which condemns the military coup that took place on 1 February 2021, and states that it is ready to adopt sanctions targeting those directly responsible for the coup, and their economic interests.
