France expands controls on virtual assets to target AML & terrorist financing

The French government has published a decree in the Official Journal which expands controls on digital assets as part of efforts to combat money laundering and terrorist financing.  The ordinance aims to bring French legislation into line with the recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force.
