Third countries align with EU ISIL/Da’esh & Al-Qaida sanctions

On 19 October 2020, the EU Council adopted Decision 2020/1516, which renewed its ISIL/Da’esh and Al-Qaida sanctions for 1 year. North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia and Georgia have aligned with this decision. See press release.
