ICJ hears preliminary objections in Iran v US

This week, the International Court of Justice is hearing the preliminary objections raised by the US in Iran’s claim that the US’ re-imposition of sanctions after its withdrawal from the nuclear deal violates the 1955 Treaty of Amity.
