Decrease in UK Financial Conduct Authority sanctions investigations

The UK Financial Conduct Authority has almost halved its number of active sanctions investigations from 2019 to 2020 (figures obtained by Global Investigations Review). In May 2019, the FCA had 11 ongoing sanctions-related investigations, compared to 6 investigations as of 4 August 2020. The FCA has opened 1 new investigation since the beginning of 2019.
