UNSC warns CAR armed groups of sanctions

The UK Acting Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Security Council has warned that armed groups violating the 2019 Agreement for Peace and Reconciliation in the Central African Republic may become subject to sanctions following certain signatories’ withdrawal from the agreement, and increased violence in anticipation of upcoming elections.
