US Congressional Committee introduces Uyghur Forced Labour Act

The US Congressional Committee on China has introduced the Uyghur Forced Labour Prevention Act, which would prohibit US imports linked to the “re-education through labour” programme for Uyghurs and other Muslim ethnic minorities in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR).
