EU continues Iran human rights sanctions for 1 year

The EU has renewed its Iran human rights sanctions for 1 year until 13 April 2021. These measures impose an asset freeze and travel ban on 82 people, and a ban on exports to Iran of equipment which might be used for internal repression or to monitor telecommunications. See Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/510 and Council Decision (CFSP) 2020/512.
