UK clarifies humanitarian exemption to Syria petroleum exports

The UK’s Export Control Joint Unit (ECJU) has amended its guidance concerning trade sanctions on Syria to clarify the humanitarian exemption to the purchase and transportation of petroleum products, related financing and financial assistance.
