Canada makes Novichok subject to export controls

Canada has added 4 new categories of controlled chemicals to its list of chemicals subject to declaration and verification under the Chemical Weapons Convention Implementation Act (CWCIA). The additions include Novichok, which was used in March 2018 in Salisbury in attacks against the Skripals. See press release.
