EU debates Spain’s violation of Venezuela VP travel ban

A debate yesterday (11 February) was held in the European Parliament concerning Spain’s alleged breach of EU sanctions against Venezuela in January 2020. Spanish authorities allowed Venezuela’s Vice-President Delcy Rodríguez, who is subject to a travel ban, entry or transit through Spanish territory, in violation of EU sanctions. Spanish Transport Minister, José Luis Ábalos, met Ms Rodríguez at the airport. …
