GE granted US licence for Ukrainian plane crash investigation

General Electric has been granted a licence from the US Treasury Department to authorise its assistance in the investigation of the Ukrainian jet PS752, which was shot down in Tehran on 8 January. GE co-owns (with French company Safran) CFM International, which made the plane’s engines.
