No EU sanctions on Turkey for now; UK to stop arms export licences

Dominic Raab, the UK Foreign Secretary, has announced that no further export licences to Turkey for items which might be used in military operations in Syria will be granted while the UK conducts a review of its defence exports to Turkey.   He said the EU has decided against sanctions at this stage, but will keep the position under review.
