Yesterday, Wilbur Ross, the US Commerce Secretary announced that licences for companies to sell products to Huawei and its affiliated entities will be issued “where there is no threat to US national security” to implement President Trump’s G-20 Summit directive. He added that “the scope of items requiring licences” had not changed, and that Huawei and its affiliates still remain on the Entity List, to which they were added in May (see post).
