UNSC & EU remove 13 entities from Iraq sanctions lists

The United Nations Security Council has removed 13 entities from the Iraq sanctions list. See here for list. Accordingly, they will no longer be subject to asset freezing measures. In June, 30 Iraqi entities in total were delisted. Today (4 July) the EU aligned with the UNSC’s decision by adopting Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1141.
