UK updates 3 general licences relating to military goods

The Export Control Joint Unit and Department for International Trade have amended 3 general licences:

  1. Open general trade control licence (maritime anti-piracy), Schedule 1 (goods) has been amended to include control entry PL9010 for non-military shotguns, meaning these items now require export authorisation;
  2. Open general export licence (export after exhibition or demonstration: military goods) has been changed to allow goods to be moved directly from one exhibition to another, rather than returned straight to their origin; and
  3. Open general licence (Iraq) – correction to the category of military goods to which the OGL applies.
