Carnival Corporation – 1st Helms-Burton Act claim

US proceedings have been issued in Miami against Carnival Corporation under Title III of the Helms-Burton Act for “traffick[ing] in stolen properties”, namely port terminals and warehouse facilities in Santiago de Cuba nationalised by Castro following the Cuban Revolution.
