EU Council renews Iran human rights sanctions for 1 year

The EU Council has renewed its Iran human rights sanctions until 13 April 2020,  pursuant to Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/560 and Council Decision (CFSP) 562.These measures impose travel bans and asset freezing measures on 82 people and 1 entity, and prohibit exports to Iran of equipment that might be used for internal repression or to monitor telecommunications.
