UN & EU remove 8 entities from Iraq sanctions list

On 29 January 2019, the UN Security Council removed the following 8 entities from its Iraq sanctions list: General Establishment for Hospitality Affairs; General Establishment for Travel and Tourist Services; National Computer Centre; State Contracting Buildings Company; State Enterprise for Rubber Industries; State Organization for Buildings; State Organization for Tourism; and Al-Huda State Company for Religious Tourism. As a result, they will no longer be subject to UN asset freezes. See UN Press Release.
