OFAC adds 2 ISIS financiers to terrorism sanctions list

Last week (19 September), OFAC designated two ISIS financiers, pursuant to Executive Order 13224 (asset freezes imposed).

Syria-based Emraan Ali was designated for “acting for or on behalf of ISIS”, and Trinidad-based Eddie Aleong was designated for “assisting in, sponsoring, or providing financial, material, or technological support for, or financial or other services to or in support of ISIS”.
