UN Security Council updates ISIL (Da’esh) and Al-Qaida sanctions list

The UN Security Council has removed one individual (Zayn Al-Abidin Muhammad Hussein) and amended the entry of another (Seifallah Ben Hassine) under its ISIL (Da’esh) and Al-Qaida sanctions list. The decision to remove was made following a de-listing request submitted through the Office of the Ombudsperson, and after considering the Comprehensive Report of the Ombudsperson.
