New Zealand lifts Iran sanctions

New Zealand has now lifted most of its Iran sanctions, following the removal of most UN sanctions when the JCPOA was implemented in January. The New Zealand Government explains in its press release (link here) that the main impact is that companies trading with Iran will no longer need to register with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Iran was formerly New Zealand’s 5th largest export market.
