UK Scrutiny Committee asks for update on Belarus after sanctions suspended

The UK EU Scrutiny Parliamentary Committee has published its conclusions on the EU’s decision on 29 October 2015 to suspend most of its targeted sanctions against Belarus (see previous blog). The committee said it was “debatable” how successful the sanctions regime of imposition/suspension/re-imposition had been as regards Belarus, and asked the Minister to write to them by 14 January 2016…...
