We reported on 14 February that the International Federation of Red Cross requested an urgent exemption from UN sanctions to help prevent the spread coronavirus in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (see post). The UNSC Committee overseeing Resolution 1718 (2006) has now granted that exemption. See press release.
