First US-India Counterterrorism Designations Dialogue

The US and India have held their first ‘Counterterrorism Designations Dialogue’ to increase “bilateral cooperation on terrorism-related designations”. Among other things, the two countries exchanged information on procedures for pursuing designations against terrorist groups and individuals through domestic and international mechanisms, as well as discussing best practices for effective implementation of the designations.
